Photograph the stack and record readable size markings. Distinguish passenger-car tires from oversized equipment tires, and note wheels or other automotive items alongside them. Give the receiver an accurate count.

Ask your tire installer whether it can take the old tires as part of the replacement job. For a separate load, request a current destination referral and ask that facility about sizes, rims, quantity, and charges. Do not assume an old receipt reflects today's acceptance.
