Keep hazardous and unknown materials separate

Many household furniture and bulky items can be reviewed for hauling. Fuels, solvents, chemicals, unknown liquids and similar hazardous materials should never be assumed acceptable. Do not mix them with ordinary junk or leave unmarked containers for a crew.

Disclose items needing acceptance review

Refrigerant-containing appliances, tires, batteries, contaminated items and dense construction debris may need special handling or separate fees. Tell JunkPDX what you have before scheduling so acceptance can be confirmed. Use appropriate local disposal channels for items the crew cannot take.

Review handling and the complete onsite price

JunkPDX offers a free, no-obligation onsite estimate. Photos help with an initial range, but the final price depends on truck space, weight, access and any special handling. You approve the final price before loading begins. Same-day service depends on availability; the crew is closed Sundays.
