Decide what should happen to the table
If someone plans to play on it again, ask a billiards specialist about disassembly, transport, reassembly and leveling. Those are separate requirements from junk hauling. If disposal is the goal, say so clearly and identify any accessories that should also leave.

Find the construction details
Look for an accessible manufacturer label and any original paperwork. Report whether the bed is slate, another material or unknown; do not lift the playing surface to investigate. Note the table dimensions, ball-return system and whether it is a commercial or coin-operated model.

Show the whole route
Photograph the room, doorway, stairs and landing turns, plus the outdoor path to a loading location. Include low basement ceilings, narrow exterior steps and tight deck access. The visible table size alone cannot show whether heavy components can be carried out safely.

Get a plan before unbolting anything
