Before requesting: describe the load
Separate unwanted material from belongings you are keeping. For a dump trailer, list material types and approximate amounts. For enclosed cargo, list furniture or equipment, large-item dimensions and estimated weights. Share your city, ZIP and requested dates so the equipment and access can be reviewed.
Before pickup: confirm the towing setup
Give Roadside your vehicle’s year, make and model, plus hitch and connection details. Ask which ratings, brakes, equipment and documents are required for the selected trailer. Confirm the loaded weight, usable space and door clearance before committing. A trailer’s listed dimensions alone do not confirm compatibility.
For delivery: review the actual address
Describe driveway width, gates, slopes, surface, overhead clearance and the proposed placement. Check property or facility permission before requesting placement. Roadside must accept the address, access, delivery price and collection plan; sending an inquiry does not hold equipment.
Before loading and return: agree on responsibilities
Confirm accepted uses, load limits and securing instructions with Roadside. For debris, agree on the disposal destination and who empties the trailer. Review condition at handoff and confirm the return location, deadline and required condition. Contact Roadside before changing the rental period or planned use.

What do I need to request a trailer rental?
Start with your rental dates, city and ZIP, load description, pickup or delivery preference, and contact details. For pickup, include tow vehicle and hitch information; for delivery, include the address and access. Roadside confirms equipment suitability, any required documents and rental terms before booking.
Is the daily trailer rental rate the total cost?
Not necessarily. Compare the quoted rental period with any delivery, collection, disposal, loading, deposit or other charges that apply. Roadside’s published daily and weekly rates are base rates. Confirm the complete quote and how your dates are billed before agreeing to the rental.
Should I pick up the trailer or request delivery?
Pickup may fit when Roadside approves your tow setup and you can manage the handoff and return. Request delivery when you need the provider to review transport and placement at your address. Delivery coverage and charges need confirmation, along with who removes and empties a loaded dump trailer.
What if I do not know which trailer I need?
Select Help me choose on the rental request. Describe the load, largest items, approximate weight, access and what you can handle yourself. Roadside reviews the equipment fit. If you need lifting and haul-away included, compare a separate JunkPDX full-service estimate.
Does requesting a trailer reserve it?
No. JunkPDX receives your inquiry and coordinates with Roadside. A receipt reference confirms that your request was received. Equipment availability, dates, final price and rental agreement must be confirmed before the rental is booked.
