Moving labor for the heavy lifting.
Need hands for a rental truck, trailer or storage container in Portland? JunkPDX provides lifting, carrying, staging and loading, with unloading available by prior arrangement. You supply and drive the vehicle or arrange container transport. Reserve a minimum three-hour crew block; transportation is not included.
We also load dump trailers rented through us or another company. Book our crew for loading help; trailer rental, hauling and disposal are separate.

Hire us to do the loading.
Our crew can carry and load approved items into your dumpster or dump trailer, including equipment you own, rent through us or rent from another company. Rental, hauling and disposal are separate from loading labor.

Clear service boundary
You drive. We lift.
This is labor-only moving help. You provide and drive the truck or tow vehicle and trailer, or arrange transport for your storage container. We do not transport your belongings or provide cargo coverage for them.
Ask your rental provider or insurer what coverage applies to your belongings. Oregon describes this type of service as pack-and-loader labor when the labor company does not provide or operate the moving vehicle.

Know the plan before moving day.
Can you help load a dumpster or dump trailer?
Yes. Request carrying and loading help for your dumpster, your own dump trailer, a trailer rented through JunkPDX or equipment from another company. Loading labor is separate from rental, towing and disposal. Send the items, access and container rules so we can confirm the scope and price.
Does JunkPDX provide the moving truck?
You provide and drive the rental truck or tow vehicle and trailer, or arrange transport for your portable storage container. JunkPDX provides the lifting and loading crew.
What if I also need junk removal?
Choose Junk Removal + Moving Labor. You can send one request, and we’ll price the hauling and moving help separately.
Can the crew help unload too?
Ask when you submit the request. Unloading may be scheduled when the destination, timing, access and crew route can be confirmed in advance.
How is moving labor priced?
Moving labor is $55 per hour, per mover. The minimum crew is two movers at $110 per hour, with a three-hour minimum of $330 total. We review stairs, long carries and especially heavy items with you before work begins.
Is this a full-service household-goods move?
No. JunkPDX provides labor only and does not provide, drive or operate the vehicle carrying your household goods.
