Video description

A short JunkPDX video shows a walkthrough and photos of household belongings and debris in rooms and a hallway. On-screen text explains hoarding cleanouts, optional cleaning afterward and a free onsite estimate at JunkPDX.com.

How we help

Start with the room you need most.

We can clear one room or the whole home. During the walkthrough, we listen to what you need and work out the price and timing with you.

Request a Private Walkthrough
  1. Tell us where you need help

You can call or send a short request. No photos or tidying needed. Tell us which room you want to start with.

  2. Walk through the home

Show us what stays and what goes. Tell us about any blocked rooms or other concerns. A family member is welcome to join.

  3. Agree on the work and price

Choose which rooms to clear and whether to do it all at once or over several visits. You approve the price before we start.

  4. We carry it out and haul it away

We take only the items you have agreed to remove. If the job changes or you want to add items, we explain any change to the price or schedule and get your approval before doing more work.

  5. Add cleaning if you need it

Our cleaners can follow once the rooms are cleared. We quote the cleaning separately and agree on a date with you.

  6. Check the work together

Before we finish, we walk through the agreed work with you. If there is more to do, we talk about the next visit.

You decide what goes

We ask before taking anything.

Choose one person who can answer questions and approve the work. If you’re unsure about an item, we leave it until you decide.

Tell us about keepsakes, documents and anything else that must stay.

What to tell us

  • The rooms: where you want help first.
  • What stays: belongings we should leave alone.
  • Access: keys, parking and who will meet us.
  • Your budget: whether you want to start small or clear everything.
  • Your timing: any move, inspection or sale deadline.

Optional cleaning

Need the rooms cleaned afterward?

Let us know during the walkthrough so we can arrange cleaning after removal. Cleaning has its own quote. Repairs, hazardous cleanup and regulated treatment need qualified specialists.

From the JunkPDX team

You can ask for help before it’s organized.

These photos show the kinds of contents and access we review. We can start with the room that matters most to you.

Share what affects the visit

Tell us about blocked access, structural concerns, pests, needles, biological waste or other conditions before the walkthrough. Review only safely accessible areas. Restricted materials and regulated remediation need separate qualified handling.

What affects the price?

How much needs to go, how long it takes to carry out and how many truckloads we need. We check those during the free walkthrough and give you the price before starting. You don’t need to send photos first.

Have a deadline?

Tell us about any move, inspection, sale or key-return date. We’ll work out how long removal should take and when cleaning can follow. The walkthrough date is separate from the work dates. Cleaning and any ongoing help arranging other companies are quoted separately.

Before you book

Common questions.

Do you decide what should be thrown away?

No. The customer or authorized representative must decide what stays and what goes.

Can the work be completed over several visits?

Yes. Phased scheduling is often the safest and clearest approach for high-volume properties.

Do you handle biohazards?

Not as ordinary junk removal. Conditions involving biological or regulated hazards must be disclosed and may require a specialist.

Do I need to organize the home before requesting a hoarding cleanout?

No. Leave it as it is. Tell us what must stay, who can approve the work and any hazards or blocked areas we should know about. Photos are optional; only take them from a safe spot.

Can your cleaners come in after the hoarding cleanout?

Yes. Ask during the walkthrough. We’ll quote the rooms and cleaning tasks separately, then arrange a time after removal.

Is hoarding cleanup the same as junk removal?

We carry out and haul away the items you want removed. Cleaning afterward is optional and priced separately. Pest treatment, repairs and regulated hazardous cleanup need qualified specialists.

What happens during a private walkthrough?

We look at the rooms with you, talk about what stays and what goes, and work out the price and timing. You can bring a family member. There’s no need to tidy up or decide to hire us that day.

Can I start with one room instead of the whole home?

Yes. Choose a hallway, kitchen, bedroom or another area. We quote that work first. You can arrange more when you’re ready.

Can a family member help coordinate the project?

Yes. Tell us who can approve the work and receive updates. If they live elsewhere, we’ll agree on how to reach them before removal.

Is a private walkthrough request a confirmed removal booking?

No. We’ll contact you to confirm the walkthrough. After that visit, you can approve the price and agree on dates for removal and any cleaning.

What if the job changes during the cleanout?

We explain any change to the price or timing and get your approval before doing more work. If you want to add items, tell the crew. If you’re unsure about an item, we leave it.

Are cleaning and help arranging other companies included?

The removal estimate is free. Your quote lists the work included. Cleaning, ongoing help arranging other companies and outside providers have separate prices agreed with you beforehand.

Free onsite estimate. No obligation, tidying or photos required. We agree on the walkthrough first; removal and cleaning are scheduled after approval.
