Describe the grill and its attachments
Photograph side burners, cabinets, grease trays and any island enclosure. Say whether it is freestanding or built into an outdoor kitchen. Include the approximate size and construction; a ceramic cooker is very different from a thin metal cart.

Separate the fuel plan
ReStore excludes propane tanks from donations. Do not hide a cylinder inside the cabinet or assume it leaves with the grill. For a fixed gas connection, arrange qualified disconnection. Ask an appropriate fuel-container provider about the cylinder separately.

Let the equipment cool completely
Do not request collection of a hot grill or warm ashes. Follow the manufacturer's preparation directions and tell the collector about grease, pellets or remaining debris. Avoid dumping unknown residue into other junk bags to make the grill look empty.

Show outdoor access
Include gates, steps, decking and soft ground between the patio and the truck. A cart with rusted wheels may no longer roll safely. Keep the unit in a stable location and ask whether detachable shelves should remain attached until pickup.
What affects cost

Ask a recipient with photos of its condition and all accessories. A free-standing usable grill may have a different outcome from a rusted body or incomplete built-in unit.
Do you take the propane tank too?
Do not include it in an ordinary booking. Identify it before scheduling and confirm a separate approved route; the grill estimate is not blanket acceptance of fuel containers.
