Remove the electronics you are keeping
Disconnect and retain your television, router, game system and accounts-linked devices. Check drawers for remote controls, discs and storage drives. Make a separate list of electronics that need recycling so they are not hidden inside the cabinet.

Count every module
Describe the center console, towers, bridge, glass doors and detached shelves. A photo straight across the room helps show the full width. Explain whether pieces are connected to one another or fastened to the wall.

Check donation before dismantling
ReStore excludes entertainment centers. A direct recipient may still be interested in a particular unit, but get a firm plan and dimensions first. Taking a unit apart can make a possible gift much harder for somebody else to use.

Review the carry and finish
Show the route from the room to legal truck parking. Tall towers, brittle panels and glass doors may require different handling. Agree which pieces leave and whether anchors remain for another trade; wall patching is a separate task.
What affects cost
No truck-size guess required.
You don’t need to choose a truck size. Show us what goes. We’ll measure the load. Descriptions and photos help us plan, but are not a final quote. Price depends on truck space, weight, access, labor and special disposal. You approve the total before loading.
Is a low modern TV stand the same as an entertainment center?
No. Describe the actual piece rather than using the terms interchangeably. Donation programs may treat a small standalone stand differently from an oversized wall unit.
Can the television be included in the pickup?
List it separately with screen size and condition. Confirm electronics handling and the total estimate before loading; removal of the cabinet alone does not include every nearby device.
