Abandoned-site debris removal

Homeless Encampment Cleanup in Portland

Clear trash, discarded furniture and approved debris left at an abandoned encampment on private property. JunkPDX reviews the site, access and materials with the owner or property manager, then confirms the cleanup scope and price before work begins.

What we plan around

A clear plan for a cleared site.

Tell us which areas need cleanup, whether the site is vacant and who can approve disposal. Identify belongings that must stay or still need a decision. Our role is the agreed debris removal after the site is cleared for that work; we do not move people or clear occupied camps.

Items and materials

What we can haul.

We review ordinary, non-hazardous debris at vacant sites. Needles, biological waste, chemicals and unknown substances need separate qualified handling; they are not included in standard junk removal.

Common service calls

A clear plan for each property.

Send the address, site status, authorized contact and photos of the debris and access. Disclose suspected hazards before the visit. We confirm accepted materials, the full price and the work schedule with you; an estimate request does not confirm cleanup.

Vacant private-property site

Identify the cleanup boundary and approved debris. Anything still in use or awaiting an ownership decision stays outside the removal list.

Access and loading plan

Show gates, uneven ground, carry distance and legal truck parking so the crew can review the work before scheduling.

Several piles or multiple loads

Photograph each area and include it in one scope. The estimate accounts for the agreed loading work, volume and disposal needs.

Commercial accounts

Flexible payment and preferred load pricing.

One-time pickups do not require an account. For repeat work, review the current account terms, discounts and approval requirements before applying.

Before you book

Commercial removal questions.

Can you clean an occupied encampment?

This service covers approved debris at vacant sites. JunkPDX does not move people, clear occupied camps or decide which belongings may be discarded. The authorized property contact must identify what is cleared for removal.

Do you remove needles or biological waste?

Needles, bodily waste, chemicals and unknown substances are outside standard junk removal. Tell us about suspected hazards before scheduling. Separate qualified handling may be needed before ordinary debris can be removed.

How much does encampment cleanup cost?

The onsite estimate is free and has no obligation. Pricing depends on the approved debris, loading work, access, volume, weight and disposal needs. Photos help with initial review; you approve the complete scope and price before work.

Does cleanup include sanitizing the site or treating soil?

No. This page covers approved trash and debris removal. Biohazard remediation, sanitizing, soil treatment and repairs need a separate provider and scope.

What photos should I send?

Send wide views of each debris area and the route to truck parking, only from safely accessible locations. Avoid including identifiable people, private documents or belongings that have not been approved for disposal.

Can you remove debris from public land?

This service is for authorized private-property cleanup. Work on public land needs separate authorization and scope review before any service can be confirmed.
