Common appliance pickups

Appliances we pick up in Portland.

Final acceptance depends on the appliance, condition, disconnection, weight and safe access. Send photos before scheduling when anything is built in, oversized or upstairs.

Before the crew arrives

Leave the carrying to our crew.

You can leave a heavy appliance inside for our crew to carry. Arrange safe utility disconnection and any built-in extraction with the appropriate qualified person before hauling. JunkPDX pickup does not include utility disconnection. Tell us before booking if preparation is incomplete so the crew can review the visit.

Before you book

Appliance removal questions.

Does JunkPDX offer this pickup outside Portland?

Portland is our main service area. We serve the surrounding metro, from Vancouver, Washington, to Woodburn and the communities in between, within our 50-mile Canby-area service range. Enter your pickup ZIP to check coverage and available arrival windows.

Can you pick up one appliance without a replacement purchase?

Yes. JunkPDX can remove a single approved appliance or include it with other unwanted items. You do not need to buy a replacement. Send photos of the unit and access for a rough range, then approve the complete onsite price before loading.

How much does appliance removal cost in Portland?

JunkPDX pickups start at $120. An appliance pickup can cost more depending on truck space, weight, stairs, carrying distance and disposal needs. Refrigerators, freezers and A/C units require specialty disposal review. Photos can support a rough range; your free onsite estimate confirms the complete price before loading. See our pricing guide for standard load sizes and additional charges.

Will you remove my appliance during the estimate visit?

For eligible standard pickups, a receipt marked Booking confirmed reserves your selected two-hour estimate appointment. The estimate is free, with no obligation to proceed. Once the appliance is ready and you approve the onsite price, standard haul-away happens during that visit. Requests marked for review need crew confirmation. Pickups run Monday–Saturday; closed Sundays.

Can you remove the old appliance before my replacement arrives?

Share the delivery date and the latest time the space must be clear. Confirm which old items your retailer will haul away and arrange safe disconnection before our visit. Your two-hour window describes arrival, not completion. Leave a buffer for removal and cleaning before delivery, and discuss the completion deadline with the crew.

Do you disconnect gas, water or electrical lines?

No. The appliance must be safely disconnected by the appropriate qualified person before ordinary pickup begins.

Can you remove an appliance from upstairs?

Usually, when the route is safe. Send photos of stairs, tight turns, doors and the full carry to truck parking so labor and access can be reviewed first.
