Choose one clear result for the stockroom
A small-shop cleanup does not have to mean emptying the entire back room. You may need room for incoming stock, access to retained shelving or space where obsolete displays have accumulated. Identify the zone to clear and the date it needs to be usable before requesting a pickup.
For a business in Wilsonville, Donald or Aurora, photograph that zone from more than one angle. Include anything stored behind the visible pile. Write a removal list by item group rather than calling the room a full cleanout if active merchandise and equipment will remain.

Keep merchandise decisions with the business
Separate active stock, customer orders, return merchandise and borrowed equipment from approved removals. Boxes that look empty may hold saleable goods, spare parts or paperwork. Assign a business contact who knows the inventory and can confirm what leaves; the hauling crew should not have to make those decisions.
Mark disputed or undecided contents to stay. Complete any inventory records your business needs before approving disposal, and retain confidential documents separately. If your staff changes the removal list between photos and the visit, give the onsite contact the latest version.
- Protect customer orders, return stock and active merchandise.
- Identify borrowed equipment and fixtures that remain.
- Name one authorized contact for the final removal list and price.
Count packaging and review fixtures separately
Group empty cardboard, shipping crates, discarded display furniture and detached shelving into a clear inventory. Count repeated items and show their sizes. A photograph of one crate does not tell the crew whether there are two more behind it or twenty in another storage area.
Identify attached shelving, glass displays, heavy equipment and dense materials individually. Share labels, dimensions and known weights when available. Unknown containers and special materials need acceptance review. Contents removal does not automatically include unfastening built-ins, disconnecting equipment or dismantling the room.

Coordinate receiving and the loading route
Show the door used for removal, the carrying route and the permitted truck-parking position. Mention stairs, shared corridors, gate access and narrow turns. If the stockroom opens through a sales area, plan how the crew can reach approved contents without mixing them with live inventory or customer belongings.
Give the crew receiving hours and any scheduled delivery that affects loading space. Share building instructions and arrange an onsite contact for access. Agree on an arrival plan rather than assuming that a two-hour arrival window means the entire back room will be cleared within two hours.
Confirm the first phase before adding another
JunkPDX provides a free, no-obligation onsite estimate. Review the approved materials, quantities, access and any agreed dismantling together, then approve the full price before loading. If another storage zone is added, have its scope and price reviewed before it joins the load.
Pickups run Monday–Saturday. After the agreed contents leave, check the cleared zone with the onsite contact and confirm retained stock remains. If packaging accumulates regularly, discuss your locations, material mix and likely frequency through a separate commercial-account request; recurring service needs review before a schedule is established.
