Inventory the case and its separate pieces
Count complete cases, bases, stands and detached shelves. Give approximate dimensions and the frame material when known. Identify sliding doors, removable panels and any loose hardware leaving. Keep merchandise, keys and retained display accessories outside the removal scope; an empty case and a loaded retail fixture need different preparation.
Request a display case estimate
Show damage and fitted components
Photograph cracked panels, sharp edges, loose doors and unstable stands without breaking glass or moving the case. Describe wall or floor attachments, lighting and other connections. Detachment and any utility work require separate assessment. Refrigerated cases follow an equipment review rather than this nonrefrigerated fixture pickup, with cooling components and preparation considered individually.
Review commercial equipment separately
Check doorways, turns and loading rules
Show the route from the case to the loading entrance, including stair turns, elevator dimensions and narrow stockroom aisles. Provide the suite, access hours and onsite contact. Leave awkward glass pieces in place for assessment. The commercial team reviews handling and crew needs before agreeing on carrying through occupied store areas.
Plan a retail fixture cleanout
Quote the case alongside other approved fixtures
List cases separately from mobile racks, mannequins and packaging even when they share one pickup. The onsite estimate is free; size, fragility, weight, access and disposal affect the paid quote. Approve the full price and agreed scope before loading. Share a reset or lease deadline so the schedule can be reviewed.
