You can leave the furniture where it is

You do not need to drag a couch to the road or carry a mattress out of storage before requesting pickup. JunkPDX provides carrying, loading and hauling. Tell us where each item is and show the route out so the onsite estimate includes that work.

For a home near Canby, Aurora or Hubbard, use the actual street address and describe any separate garage or storage building. One sofa in the living room and another in a detached shed are two removal areas at the same property. Include both when checking the complete price.

Count the pieces before choosing a pickup

List the couch, chairs, mattresses, bed frames and other accepted items you want gone. Count sectional pieces separately and identify sleeper sofas, recliners or unusually heavy furniture. Include cushions, loose drawers and any additional pieces stored behind the main pile.

You do not need to guess a truckload size. Ordinary household pickup pricing depends mainly on the space the items use, with weight, carrying and disposal needs considered. A starting price is not a quote for every piece on your property; approve the full onsite total before loading.

  • Item count and location: house, garage, shed or outside.
  • Stairs, narrow doors and distance to truck parking.
  • Sleeper mechanisms, heavy pieces or damage affecting handling.

Keep outside staging practical

If the furniture is already outside, tell us where it sits and whether it is wet, damaged or on uneven ground. Show the carrying path and a possible loading spot. Avoid blocking a gate or leaving items beside a public road while waiting for an estimate.

Usable furniture offered to a buyer or donation organization should stay separate from the removal group. Protect it from weather while that collection is pending. If it is not collected, update your JunkPDX item list before loading; paid hauling does not guarantee donation acceptance.

Include the other items you want removed

An old dresser, mattress and accepted garage contents can be reviewed together at one address. Show the full group so the crew can price the combined scope. Do not assume that adding items is free or that separate areas automatically need separate bookings.

If an appliance is part of the pickup, name it and describe its connection status. Refrigerators and freezers need separate disposal review, and utility-connected appliances need an agreed preparation plan. Keep fuel, chemicals and unknown containers identified separately.

Book using your rural property address

Choose an available two-hour arrival window Monday–Saturday and enter your property's full address. Add driveway, gate and entrance details when they apply. Coverage and timing are checked for that location, including nearby rural properties around Barlow and Woodburn.

If no online window appears, contact the local crew with the address and item list for a route review. Your onsite estimate is free, with no obligation. Standard pickups can often be hauled during the estimate visit after you approve the price; larger or specialty projects may need a separate plan.
