Understanding the removal total · Local guide

How Does Junk Removal Pricing Work?

Household junk is priced mainly by its space in the truck or trailer. Weight, access and disposal requirements can change the total.

Before you plan the job

How does JunkPDX calculate a junk removal price?

The crew assesses your household junk by the space it will take in the truck or trailer, then reviews access, weight and disposal needs. Standard carrying, loading, hauling and disposal are included in the approved scope. Current load prices are on the pricing page; you approve the complete onsite total before loading.

How it works

What to expect.

The crew reviews everything leaving

The crew reviews everything leaving, including separate rooms and loose pieces around furniture. Show items in their current locations. Descriptions and photos support a rough range without making you guess a truckload fraction.

The crew assesses loading space

Household contents are assessed by their loading space in the truck or trailer. A couch, boxes and mattress form one combined scope. Published load examples help you compare sizes; they are not fixed prices for every item.

Weight and access can affect the total

Dense debris can reach a safe weight limit while using little space. Heavy pieces, difficult stairs, long carries or special disposal may add charges. The crew reviews these factors before quoting the total.

You approve the complete price

The quote covers the agreed items and removal work. Review added charges and included loads before approval. If you add belongings afterward, ask the crew to review the changed scope and total before loading them.

What affects cost

No truck-size guess required.

You don’t need to choose a truck size. Show us what goes. We’ll measure the load. Descriptions and photos help us plan, but are not a final quote. Household junk is priced by the space it takes up in our truck or trailer. Unusually heavy items, certain debris types, difficult access or special disposal may add charges. You approve the total before loading.

How Pricing Works

Common questions

Before you schedule.

Why might a few buckets of tile cost differently from boxes?

Tile needs weight and disposal review. Household clutter may use more space but weigh less. Volume alone cannot price both loads alike.

Is carrying furniture from inside included?

Standard carrying and loading are included. Explain stairs, tight exits and heavy pieces so extra handling is reviewed in the total.

Where should I check the current prices?

Check the pricing page for current load tiers and examples. Photos support planning; the complete price is confirmed onsite before loading.
