Understanding your estimate visit · Local guide

How Does a Free Onsite Estimate Work?

The estimate gives you a removal price after the crew sees your items and access. You decide whether to proceed before loading.

Before you plan the job

How does a free onsite junk removal estimate work?

The crew looks at everything you want removed, checks the carrying route and explains the complete price. You can approve the work, ask about a smaller pickup or decline without an estimate charge. Photos help with planning, but your final removal price is agreed onsite before loading.

For your Portland-area project, review basic household junk removal or call the local crew at (971) 325-2491.

How it works

What to expect.

Your receipt shows the booking status

Booking confirmed on your receipt means your estimate arrival window is reserved. Under review means the crew still needs to confirm the request. Booking the estimate does not commit you to paid hauling.

You show the crew what goes

The crew reviews items where they are, along with stairs, doors and loading access. Point out belongings that stay and additional rooms. You do not need to move ordinary furniture outside or choose a truck size.

You review the complete total

The estimate covers the agreed contents, carrying, loading, hauling and disposal. Unusual weight, access or materials are discussed before approval. A photo range is preliminary; the walkthrough can reveal items or handling not visible in the pictures.

Your decision starts the next stage

You can accept, decline or ask for a revised scope. Standard household removal may happen during the same visit after approval. Larger cleanouts or specialty work may need a separately confirmed plan for equipment, extra loads or another visit.

What affects cost

No truck-size guess required.

You don’t need to choose a truck size. Show us what goes. We’ll measure the load. Descriptions and photos help us plan, but are not a final quote. Household junk is priced by the space it takes up in our truck or trailer. Unusually heavy items, certain debris types, difficult access or special disposal may add charges. You approve the total before loading.

Common questions

Before you schedule.

Do I need a card to book the estimate?

No card or payment is required for an eligible standard estimate booking. You can decline the onsite quote without paying an estimate charge.

What if I only want the couch removed after seeing the quote?

Ask for a couch-only scope before approving work. The crew can explain the revised total and any applicable minimum; the other items remain outside that agreement.

Does approval guarantee a whole-house cleanout that day?

No. The crew must review contents, access, loads and schedule. Agree on the work plan and price before relying on a completion date.
