Photograph the front, cushions and any damage. Donation centers decide what they accept based on condition and current capacity.

Measure the exit path
Measure the couch, doorways, turns, stairs and elevator. Tell us if legs or doors may need to come off.

Show the carry to the truck
Send photos of stairs, narrow halls, gates and legal parking so the crew can plan the pickup.

Keep it dry and accessible
Leave the couch assembled unless asked otherwise, clear the path and disclose stains, pests or contamination before arrival.
